A woman is in hospital with serious injuries after she was struck by a car in Sheffield.

The 38-year-old was hit by a black Vauxhall Astra in Woodrove Avenue, Woodthorpe, at 5.05pm on Tuesday.

A 36-year-old man has been questioned.
