Police are appealing for witnesses after a sexual assault on a 45-year-old woman near Conisbrough railway station.

The incident happened around 12.45pm on Wednesday, May 14, just off Doncaster Road when she was approached by a man on a bike who said she had dropped something.

The woman retraced her steps back to a footpath when she was grabbed from behind and pulled on to wasteland.

She broke free and the man kicked and hit her in the back before running off. He is described as white, about 6ft 3ins tall, slim, wearing a black and red motorcycle helmet.
