Woman’s hand fractured in Staffordshire Bull Terrier attack in Sheffield

A woman suffered a fracture to her hand after being bitten by a Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Sheffield.

The incident happened at around 9.10am on Friday, May 15, on grassland between Jenkin Road and Newman Road in Wincobank.

It is reported that the black Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross breed, which was wearing a thick leather harness, also attacked the woman’s dog.

Police are now trying to trace the owner of the dog.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or can help police trace the owner is asked to contact 101 quoting incident number 177 of 15 May 2015.
