Woman robbed on a Sheffield street - Do you know this man?

Police have released an e-fit of a man they are looking for in connection with a robbery in Firth Park nearly four months ago.

A man attempted to take the handbag from a woman in her 60s who was walking onto Foremark Road from Sicey Avenue.

The woman was assaulted and the man ran from the area with the bag and its contents. Police say the man fled towards Sicey Avenue.

The incident happened on Tuesday, January 19 between 6.45 and 6.55pm.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The man is described as average build and was wearing a black beanie style hat, a khaki coloured padded jacket and light coloured trousers.

“Do you know who the man is? Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 914 of 19 January 2016.

“Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555111.”
