Woman left fighting for life after Barnsley crash now stable

A woman left fighting for life after a crash in Barnsley is now in a stable condition.

The 27-year-old was a passenger in a Citroen C1 which was involved in a collision with a cement mixer lorry and a Vauxhall Vectra on Industry Road, Carlton, on Monday afternoon.

Lorna Humble, 29, of Lang Avenue, Lundwood, Barnsley, who was driving the Citroen, suffered fatal head injuries in the collision.

An inquest into Lorna's death was opened and adjourned yesterday.
