Woman hit by car in Sheffield city centre
A woman was struck by a car in Sheffield city centre this morning.
South Yorkshire Police said a Peugeot 208 was involved in the collision with the pedestrian in Sheaf Street at around 7.30am.
It occurred between the bus station and railway station crossing and led to one lane closure while emergency services dealt with the incident.
It caused congestion for motorists in the area.
