Woman fighting for life after head-on smash in Rotherham
A woman suffered life threatening injuries in a head-on collision in Rotherham, police have revealed.
The 64-year-old was driving an orange Mini Cooper along Blyth Road, Maltby, when she was involved in a crash with a white Volkswagen Golf at 1pm yesterday.
Police said the man driving the Golf suffered minor injuries.
Witnesses to the collision, which happened close to Roche Abbey, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
