POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses to a crash in which a male pedestrian was seriously injured in Rotherham.
The man was hurt when he stepped into the path of a black Ford Fiesta travelling along Town Lane, Greasbrough.
The 30-year-old suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to Rotherham District General Hospital for treatment.
Police said the Fiesta was travelling towards Greasbrough at the time of the crash, on Thursday, March 28, at about 1.50pm.
A police spokesman said: “It is believed that a pedestrian stepped out into the road and collided with the Ford Fiesta.
“The pedestrian, a local man, sustained serious injuries.”
