Window broke council rules

Have your say

OWNERS of a terraced house are to be ordered to remove a dormer window fitted without planning permission.

Sheffield Council’s city centre south and east planning board has been recommended to approve enforcement action over the white PVC structure, which officers say is ‘not in scale or character’ with the century-old building in Barber Road, Crookesmoor.

Officers are asking councillors to approve an order and, if necessary, legal action to ensure the window is replaced.
