Wind turbine plan at centre
PLANS for a 51 metre wind turbine at a proposed technology centre just off the Sheffield Parkway have been submitted to Rotherham Council by Yorkshire Forward.
The turbine is one of a package of energy-saving measures proposed at the new centre.
n Developers Red Brick Homes Ltd are seeking permission to build more than 20 apartments on land behind the Superbowl in Wortley Road, Rotherham.
Plans for a single storey extension and new security fencing at Broom Valley Infants School are also being considered by Rotherham Council.
