WIN: Sold-out Star Wars tickets at Sheffield Cineworld

The Star has teamed up with Cineworld Sheffield to give away money-can’t buy tickets to the first sold-out screenings of the latest blockbuster at five past midnight on Thursday, December 17.

First prize is four tickets – to take family or friends – to see it on the new immersive 4DX screen, with motion seats and environment effects. Second prize is four tickets to see it on the cinema’s giant IMAX screen with laser technology in 3D.

Five runners up will get a pair of tickets to see a general screening at the cinema at a date and time of their choice, subject to availability, from Monday, December 21. It’s also being shown in 3D, as well as 2D.

The new Star Wars film will also launch Cineworld Sheffield’s new premium in cinema luxury – two 80-seat VIP Experience intimate screens, each with luxurious ‘lazy boy’-style reclining leather seats and individual tables, private reception lounge bar, gourmet buffet and unlimited soft drinks, which will open on Friday, December 18.

The seventh Star Wars film, produced by Lucasfilm and Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, but this time distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, introduces new characters and old favourites – Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are among returning original cast members.
