William’s dream comes true

A SCHOOL pupil’s dreams came true when he was picked to appear in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel Theatre.

William Hall, aged 11, from Mount St Mary’s College in Spinkhill was part of the show’s choir when the touring production, starring Keith Jack from the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do show, came to the town.

The Killamarsh youngster performed in five shows before the show headed off to Italy.

William’s mum Jane said: “William’s love for drama and being in shows first started when he was at Barlborough Hall School and he had to sing a nursery rhyme in a play when he was about seven years old.

“The choir was on stage for the whole two-hour show and provided background music throughout as well as the well-known songs like Any Dream Will Do,” she added.
