The show transports the audience back to the era of 1876 when the sharpshooting tomboy Calamity Jane ends up travelling to Chicago to bring back the glamorous actress Adelaide Adams to add sparkle to the Deadwood’s saloon-theatre.

She ends up with the actress’s maid, Katie Brown, who is unable to perform, but the power of love ensures all works out in the end.

Director Rachel Marshall said: “This is a classic show and we’ve been working hard to make sure audiences enjoy themselves. The cast have been having a great time in rehearsals and we’re sure that everyone who turns up will have a great time.”

The show will run from June 7 to Saturday June 11, with curtain raising at 7.15pm each day, with a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm. Tickets cost £8 available by ringing 01142 403839.
