For any Big Mac lovers in Sheffield, this McDonald's news may come as a bit of a shock.
The hugely popular fast-food restaurant has a number of sites in Sheffield but, sadly, two of them won't be open for most of May.
Customers near the Archer Road and Darnall Road restaurants will now have to venture a bit further afield to get their daily dose of McDonald's.
McDonald's have announced that the two stores will be closed until June 6 and May 29 respectively.
It's going to be a long few weeks but it seems that it'll be worth the wait as both restaurants undergo a digital transformation.
Customers will now have more options on how they order, including a new 'click and collect' service.
They will also be able to enjoy table service and have the option to use the restaurant's digital kiosks.
Franchisee Walter Wright, said: “Technology has a huge role to play in all walks of life, including our customers’ eating out experience, so the new tech we’ve introduced to both restaurants recognises the way people live their lives today.
"The response to the changes in other restaurants from the team has been very positive and they are enjoying the new ways of working.
"To ensure we continue to create an outstanding customer experience, I am also continuing to invest in my people through our industry-leading training programmes and career opportunities.”
The changes will also create 15 new jobs.
