THEY’RE dreaming of a red and white Christmas.
Sheffield United’s junior members were treated to an early Christmas present at Bramall Lane when around 80 children and their families enjoyed a visit from the Blades first team.
Entertainment from magicians, a visit from Captain Blade and games also formed part of the fun before the youngsters collected signatures from their favourite players.
Carrie Sampson, Junior Blades organiser, said: “We love to get the young fans involved, especially at our Christmas party.
“It’s not only great to see the children meeting the first team but the players also have fun interacting with their supporters.
“It helps highlight the best thing about football - uniting people through their joint support for the Blades.
“For our fans it’s the perfect mixture of fun and football,” she said.
