Competition for places is expected to further increase this weekend as Atdhe Nuhiu and Lucas Joao are set to return to action, having recovered from their respective injury problems.

Nuhiu and Joao will be vying with Fernando Forestieri and Jordan Rhodes for starting spots.

Luhukay, who has denied Wednesday have received contact from any clubs regarding goalkeeper Keiren Westwood, insists he is “not worried” about the selection poser.

“We have a lot of choices to select a good team. It’s important we have a good team, not just players,” he told The Star. “When the team works well together, we have a better chance of a good result. The players can make a difference, but first we must have a good team on the pitch.

“With Lucas and Atdhe back, we must now work on our formation.”

Rhodes ended his long goal drought in Saturday’s win over Hull City, grabbing his seventh goal of the campaign.

“Every striker lives for goals, it gives them a good feeling and confidence,” said Luhukay. “All strikers are happy when they are scoring. They are not happy when they play good, but don’t score. Every player must take his chance when he gets it.”
