Why all the fuss?

So here we have it, Meadowhall wants to expand to the tune of £300 million and what happened to regenerating the city centre? There has been no news of who the desired developer is.

Why all the fuss about some small shops opening up on the Moor in the multi- million pound development? What about Harvey Nicks or Zara coming to the city centre. Are we still going to pay the earth to park?
