The pair were told they would start against Nottingham Panthers in the Play Off semi final, after being dropped last weekend in the quarter final.

Out go Andreas Jamtin and Miika Franssila, meaning Zack Fitzgerald will go back on defence.

The Star had suggested Marquardt and Wallace would return earlier this week.

But the decision to leave out Jamtin - whose focus, perhaps, may have been distracted by his recent paternity leave - will raise eyebrows.
