The health service is now “to clamp down on some of the staffing agencies ripping off the NHS” the chief executive of NHS England has said.
Why is it now almost impossible to apply for any job these days without going through an agency and where do these agencies get their funding from?
What’s wrong with the old system of applying direct to a company, having an interview and either being told you’ve got the job or not?
Surely the old system must be cheaper or is it that the agency system is another way of keeping unemployment figures down because the number of agencies and their staff that are now operating is unbelievable and of course they must be funded from somewhere?
Maybe someone would like to tell us ?
