Pina will open in Kelham Island's Harvest Lane on May 25, just in time for the Champions League final on Saturday.

The bar has revealed that it will have a mezzanine level dedicated to sports, meaning it could be the perfect place to go and watch this summer's World Cup.

Pina posted on their Facebook page, stating: "Introducing the piña mezzanine, a place dedicated to sports! Keep your eyes peeled for our first event announcement. ⚽️."

The bar's owner, Joe Cribley, told Vibe that the idea of a mezzanine level dedicated to sports has been 'well received' so far.

He told Vibe: "It’s really exciting to have the Champions League final coming up, then the World Cup and then the great summer sporting events like Wimbledon, Tour De France, Rugby World Cup Sevens. We’ll show the lot!"

"We have been working on the vegan menu too and it’s really come on. We’ve always wanted to have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options on our menu. It’s often slim pickings for veggies and vegans when eating out and we wanted to make sure we offered as comprehensive a menu as possible.

"In the end, we felt it best to have an entirely separate menu that essentially replicates the dishes on our main menu using plant-based substitutes which, I promise, even meat eaters will enjoy. Beer-battered “To-Fish” is one of my favourites."
