Officers from the Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit said the van showed as not being taxed at Tibshelf Services on Sunday night.

A spokesman said they noticed an unusual smell coming from the vehicle and opened the doors to find it full of cannabis.

He added three air fresheners had been hung up in the back but were 'failing miserably' to mask the smell.

Two people were arrested, including the driver, who police said was 'high on cocaine'.
