Matias said: "It was a great performance from the team. I'm happy. I think the most important thing is the victory. It doesn't matter who scores. Of course, I'm happy to score and help the team but the most important thing is the three points.

"I'm happy to have scored three goals but the most important thing is the collective. The team. If we get the three points and I don't score, perfect."

Injuries have dogged Matias throughout his Wednesday career.

But the former Nacional forward is fully-fit and appears to be benefiting from an extended run in the Owls side.

"I'm fit now," conceded Matias. "I had injuries for almost two years. It was a bad time for me but I'm happy to sort it out.

"Now, I'm in a good way and I hope I can enjoy a whole season like that without injuries.

"When I play more minutes, I am more near to helping the team with goals. It is important for me to play a lot of minutes. I'm happy."
