The retirementage is to be raised to 75 in the not too distant future.

At the height of the British Empire which was supposed to benefit all, poor Joe Public lived in squalid conditions of filth, poverty and disease while the fat cats got richer.

For my first few years I lived in those same houses, some back-to-back, all with shared outside toilets.

What happened to the promise that modern technology would benefit all with longer holidays, and a lower retiring age?

In my 73 years retirement age has not fallen by a single second and will go up by 10 years from 65 to 75.

And here we are again in the 21st century with food banks, while fat cat corporates get away with paying zilch.

I get taxed £80 per month because I get the pension that we were all encouraged to join.
