Whenever Wednesday take on United it’s always a special occasion and this was no different.
Two teams of fans - one representing the Owls the other the Blades - came together in a charity football game at the Hillsborough Community Arena.
At the end of 90 minutes the two teams were tied 4-4, with the match going on to be decided on penalties.
And on this occasion Wednesday emerged victorious.
But the real winner of the game was Weston Park Hospital - after more than £500 was raised towards their charity appeal.
Hillsborough Community Football Club manager Daz Clapham who organised the game said: “After helping to raise more than £3000 for Weston Park Hospital in July. With ex Blade and ex Owls playing, We thought our second smaller fans match should try to do something for community. We are very pleased we helped.”
