Well done everyone
Could I take this opportunity to use your letters page to congratulate and thank all the pupils and staff at the Holgate Meadows Community Special School, together with voluntary staff from John Lewis who took part an extensive litter pick and clean up, in terrible weather conditions, all around the school and the Lindsay Avenue area last Friday.
It was a sterling effort by all, as part of the Clean for the Queen campaign, and I do hope that all those adults who throw this rubbish down, take on board this example, set by the youngsters, have some pride in their area, and take their rubbish home.
Well done Holgate Meadows Community Special School.
