Wedding stationery designer wisn top award

A DONCASTER business came away with an accolade from the Wedding Industry Awards 2007 staged by Yorkshire Brides, the largest bridal show in the north of England.

A team of independent judges voted wedding suppliers from Doncaster, Leeds, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Sheffield, Darlington and Stockton as the top tier. Winners were presented with their awards at the black tie dinner held at the Great Yorkshire Showground pavilions by celebrity stylist, Bradley Taylor, and the Stationery Designer of the Year was Pure Anticipation of Doncaster, run by Cheryl Badger and Susan Trout.

The Awards were designed to recognise the services wedding companies provide to brides and grooms.

Yorkshire Brides show director Cathy McConaghy said: “This was our second Wedding Industry Awards and it was a terrific evening. It is great for our region's wedding suppliers to gain the recognition they deserve.”
