WEATHER WARNING: Sheffield could be hit by SNOW this week as gritters hit roads
More wintry weather is forecast tonight across the High Peaks with a mix of rain sleet and snow possible.
Snow and sleet is forecast around 9pm tonight as temperatures drop to 2C but temperatures will feel more like -4C due to the windchill factor. More snow is forecast between 1am-4am on Tuesday, turning to rain later.
In Sheffield, gritters will be out from 7pm tonight with ‘wintry showers and ice’ forecast. The council has warned motorists to take extra care.
