Brits have endured a chilly second week of lockdown following last week’s warm weather, but the good news is that the sunshine is set to return later this week and remain into next.

Starting Saturday, temperatures are forecast to reach highs of 13 degrees, with a moderate breeze, before hitting up to 19 degrees on Sunday – the hottest day forecast in the next seven days.

A Met Office spokesperson said temperatures would generally be above average for this time of year.
