Black ice has been reported on Hole House Lane in Stocksbridge – a busy route used by parents dropping children at school as well as several bus services.
Traffic is reportedly at a standstill, with bus routes also affected.
Stagecoach Yorkshire has confirmed service 57 is not currently servicing Garden village and service SL1 is currently suffering delays.
