Snow falls in Sheffield but is there MORE on the way? Hour-by-hour Tuesday forecast

Sheffield has been hit with strong winds and wintry showers, with the cold snap set to continue throughout Tuesday.

The Met Office is predicting another cold and windy day with wintry showers. Snow is also expected to fall over the hills.

Moving into this evening, the weather is expected to stay windy overnight with more wintry showers. There is a risk of frost in places and icy patches. Temperatures are expected to fall to as low as zero in some parts of the region.

The early part of Tuesday will see heavy showers changing to sleet by late morning. The weather may clear slightly as the day goes on, but snow and sleet is expected to hit Yorkshire from 8pm onwards.
