Showers and sunshine are forecast for today for South Yorkshire

Rain is expected to soon clear towards the southeast as the weather front clears away, according to the Met Office.
The Met Office says sunshine and showers should then follow from the west with windy conditions with fresh southwest winds veering westerly.

Hide AdRainfall is expected to continue mainly through the morning but this should start dying away by 1pm.
By tonight, showers are expected to fade during the evening, according to the Met Office, with a clear and chilly night to follow as winds fall and become more light.
The Met Office says temperatures will reach highs of around eight and nine degrees centigrade and they are expected to fall to around five degrees during the night.
