Sheffield weather: Midday showers could make for muggy afternoon amid sunny spells
Sheffield can expect a muggy day ahead with brief but heavy showers set to arrive by midday.
This week’s summery heatwave is set to continue with temperatures reaching as high as 23C.
South Yorkshire will be warm but clouded over for much of the day, with short showers forecasted at 12 noon and 5pm and a light breeze all day.
Sudden downpours are also expected for much of the weekend, which will much cooler with highs of around 20C compared to the 26C seen this week.
