Sheffield weather forecast - how long will heavy rain and cold temperatures last?

It is wet weather for much of the week for Sheffield, as the forecast by the Met Office predicts outbreaks of showery rain starting Monday, October 26.

With flood warnings issued for the rest of England, Sheffield will see scattered showers during the evening and start of the night, before slowly fading after midnight, with a minimum temperature of 3°C.

On Tuesday, skies will steadily cloud over through the morning with rain and stronger winds arriving during the afternoon with a maximum temperature of 11°C.

Meanwhile, Wednesday will be cold and breezy with sunshine and isolated showers, but potentially turning much wetter during Thursday.

However, brighter and milder weather is predicted on Friday with occasional sunny spells.

The Met Office said unsettled conditions are expected to dominate for the rest of October and the wettest, windiest weather is most likely in the north and west of the UK whilst the best of any drier or brighter weather across the south and east.
