Many people across Sheffield will be heading out to beer gardens this bank holiday Monday, but it is unlikely that the weather will be on their side as the Met Office has predicted a washout with heavy rain and wind to batter the city throughout the day.

On Monday, conditions are expected to remain dry in the early morning, with light rain arriving around lunchtime before turning heavy later into the evening.
