Just days ago, Sheffield was seeing fires breaking out on its parched fields and parks.
Today, the city is on an Environment Agency flood alert following a dramatic change in the weather.
On Upwell Street, near Brightside, pictures earlier showed a car struggling through flood water under a bridge.
Water pooled on West Street and people tried their best to keep dry in torrential rain.
Yet at the start of the week, the city was parched, after weeks of wildfires on Sheffield’s desiccated fields.
These pictures show the dramatic change around.
