The brief thunderstorm on Sunday evening, at around 6pm, marked the final stages of Storm Dennis’ assault on the city over the weekend.
Paul Travis captured these fantastic shots of the light display over Stocksbridge, which have been widely praised online, with several people commenting on how much they thought the shape of the lightning resembled a ‘giant sperm’.
