WEATHER: Sheffield braces itself for gales
Sheffield is likely to enjoy a dry day with plenty of sunshine this morning before things take a turn for the worse.
This afternoon cloud will increase and from around 6pm rain is expected with heavy downpours due to last all night.
According to the Met office, the wind will strengthen overnight, with widespread gales developing.
