WATCH: Wind and rain batters commuters at Sheffield train station as Storm Doris hits

Have your say

Commuters at Sheffield Train Station were forced to battle against gale-force wind and rain this morning as Storm Doris rolls in.

Umbrellas and hoods were out in force as commuters shielded their faces from the gruesome conditions whilst walking up Sheaf Square.

An amber weather warning of wind is now in place for Sheffield, starting at 8am and lasting for 12 hours until 8pm this evening.

Winds are expected to reach speeds of more than 50mph with heavy rain predicted at 10am and again at 2pm.
