Gorgeous girls Mariah and Purdy arrived at RSPCA’s Sheffield Animal Centre in April, after having no luck finding a new home at another branch.
Ten-year-old Mariah and three-year-old Purdy, both shorthair domestics, are extremely close, so are looking for a home where they can stay together, which has made finding them a loving forever home a little tricky,
RSPCA spokesman Adam Spencer said: “Both girls are very sweet and affectionate and enjoy spending time with the staff who care for them, either for cuddles or some playtime.
“Mariah has an injured eye that is currently causing her no problems but will need monitoring - our vets think it was possibly due to having untreated cat flu as a kitten, but cannot be sure. She is also missing her left hind leg, but you wouldn`t know as she gets about really well, just like a four legged cat!
“They are both looking for an indoor-only home, where they can stay safely inside - though they may enjoy supervised outdoor access if this could be possible.
“Mariah and Purdy have been through an awful lot and really deserve their fortunes to be turned around. Have you got space in your home and heart for our two gorgeous girlies? They can be a little shy to begin, so are looking for a home with no young children.”
