The United boss made the admission after his side's 4-0 victory over Swindon this afternoon, which sent them second in League One and cut the gap between them and leaders Scunthorpe to just three points.

Mark Duffy scored a brace, added to efforts from Paul Coutts and Caolan Lavery, and Wilder admitted: "We pressed well throughout, won the ball back in good positions and created good opportunities.

"We started the second half on the front foot with supporters behind us, then we scored and the players showed a real desire to score more. So it's been a good afternoon for us.

"We're a front-foot team; we go to win games, and I want the place to always have the feel it had today - that the opposition has to do something special to stop us, if we play the way we know we can play."
