United scored four second-half goals after going behind early in the derby, and putting in a poor first-half display at the Proact.

And Wilder, who watched Kieron Freeman, John Fleck, Billy Sharp and Leon Clarke get on the scoresheet to extend his side's unbeaten run to 12 league games, said: "It was a poor start from us, and you have to give credit to Chesterfield.

"But we grew into it and I thought it was a good game of football. At half time, there was no barking or smashing teacups, we just reminded them that they had to show more quality and be patient, and we did that in the second half."
