Dutch winger Royston Drenthe, who spent six months at Hillsborough during the 2014-15 season, has turned to a career in hip-hop and has put out the rap song under the name Roya2Faces.

Drenthe, who played 15 games for the Owls and also spent spells at Everton and Reading, has turned his attentions to music after being released by Baniyas in the United Arab Emirates.

The song, called Paranoia, has been shared on YouTube and features the 29-year-old rapping to a song produced by beatsmith JiandroBeats.

Speaking on his Instagram account earlier this week, Drenthe posted: "Next Wednesday is the day!

"Be ready because at 12:00 I drop my first single called Paranoia.

Drenthe joined Wednesday on a six-month loan in September 2014.

He made his Owls debut as a second-half substitute in a 0–0 away draw against Bolton Wanderers and his only Owls goal came in a 1–1 draw at Charlton Athletic in November of that year.
