Food waste recycler ReFood is pledging its support for the homeless this Christmas by donating 50p to the Cathedral Archer Project in Sheffield for every new bin collection added to its rounds over the next three months.

Members of the ReFood team will also be volunteering at the Archer Project, helping to serve breakfast and Christmas dinner to the city’s homeless.

ReFood offers a food waste collection and recycling service to businesses.

Laura Moffatt, from ReFood, said: “Businesses in the local area can sign up to ReFood’s food waste collection services and help people in need over the coming months – in addition to the financial and environmental benefits recycling food waste offers restaurants, cafés, hotels and shops.”
