Warren takes top prize home, along with £25,000

Warren Frost, a first year student studying aerospace engineering, won the overall Telegraph UK STEM Award, scooping the £25,000 top prize and a place in the awards mentoring scheme.

He was one of five students in the running for the award, after winning the aerospace category previously and was up against the winners of the design, energy, healthcare and innovation categories.

Warren, aged 20, of Worksop, said: “Winning the overall award and grand prize is a huge honour and I’m very proud, it’s a dream come true. The STEM Awards and mentoring scheme is a brilliant opportunity and will go a long way in helping me complete my studies.”
