EXPERIENCE the elegant cafe culture of a bygone era in a special day of events at Sheffield City Hall which includes a chance to try ballroom dancing and patisserie making.

The Prague Cafe Experience on Sunday, May 8 combines music, food and dance as Music in the Round and Sheffield City Hall present the sights, sounds and smells of the grand cafes of Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

Sample some of the finest foods from a specially designed lunch menu of traditional Hungarian and Austrian dishes, and listen to music from the era performed by the chamber group Ensemble 360, who present two lively concerts recreating the buzz of the old cafés.

The event is part of a nine-day festival ‘Intimate Letters: Austrian, Hungarian and Bohemian music 1804 to 1945’.
