Waiting lists on decrease

DONCASTER'S hospitals trust has seen a fall in the number of people on its waiting list for outpatient appointments.

Figures reported to the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s latest board of directors meeting showed in July there were 597 people who had been referred by family doctors waiting six weeks or more for their appointments.

It compared with 565 in the previous month. No one was waiting more than 11 weeks.

The trust runs the Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Mexborough Montagu Hospital and Bassetlaw Hospital.
