A police speed camera on the Parkway in Sheffield was one of the highest grossing in the country, figures have shown.
The camera on the A57 detected 14,944 offences in the last three years.
And if every offence captured resulted in a £60 fine, the total cost would be £897,300.
The camera was the ninth highest grossing camera in England and Wale according to data released under the Freedom of Information Act.
