Volvo '˜totally destroyed' in suspected Sheffield arson attack
A Volvo estate car has been '˜totally destroyed' in a suspected arson attack in Sheffield.
Firefighters were called to Oaks Lane, Shiregreen, at around 9pm last night following reports of the vehicle being on fire.
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the car was ‘totally destroyed’ in the blaze, which appeared to have been deliberately started.
The fire also caused some damage to a telegraph pole the car was parked close to.
An investigation is now going to take place into the cause of the fire.
