Marie Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people in South Yorkshire to donate an hour of their time this March to help raise cash for the charity as part of the annual Great Daffodil Appeal.
The appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraiser which encourages everyone to give a donation and wear a daffodil pin during March.
Money raised helps Marie Curie nurses to provide free care to local people with terminal illnesses in their own homes.
Kate Holdsworth, community fundraiser for Marie Curie in South Yorkshire, said: “We need 700 people from South Yorkshire to help us collect this March. Collecting is a really enjoyable and rewarding experience.”
