When it comes to fundraising the sky’s the limit for a charity shop worker from Sheffield.
Teenager Chloe Rowan, from Handsworth, has teamed up with friend Bethany McCrudden to take on a sky dive for the charity Barnardo’s where she volunteers at the branch in Dronfield.
The pair, both 19, are aiming to raise £1,000 for the children’s charity by completing the stunt in August.
Staff at the shop have already raised an extra £12,500 on top of takings over the past year through fundraising events at the Peel Centre in Dronfield Civic Hall. The next event, a jumble sale, will take place tomorrow from 9am until 4pm.
Chloe said: “I have worked with groups of children and realised how rewarding it is to put a smile on their faces.”
